Turnitin is an originality checking and plagiarism prevention service that checks the writing of students in assignments for citation mistakes or inappropriate copying. Turnitin have multiple products. Ans is connected with Turnitin Similarity. When a student submits a paper, Turnitin compares it to text in its massive database, which includes other student work within the Turnitin database, websites, books and articles.
The integration does not compare students' answers from within one assignment. The Turnitin integration can be used for digital tests and hand-in assignments.
After configuring the Turnitin integration, you will need to enable it in the settings of your assignment. Turnitin can be enabled for digital tests and hand-in assignments.
For digital tests, Ans submits answers to open questions with 20 or more words, images uploaded inside an open question, files uploaded in a file upload question and answers to code questions.
