How do I add files (PDF/Word) so that they are displayed inline?

To display a file inline, it must first be in the Course Files. If you have uploaded PDF and/or Office files to your Course Files, you can quickly display them by selecting Add Existing and then choosing More > Course File.

Below is a detailed explanation:

Go to Course Admin in the navbar.

Then choose Manage Files

You will find all the files that are in the course in Brightspace. If you want to add a PDF or Word file, click on Upload.

Additionally, there is the option to create a new folder using the New Folder button to organize the files.

Click on Upload and search for the file, or drag the file here. Once the correct file is displayed, click on Save.

When you have done this, go to Content and click on the location where you want to add the file.

Click on Add Existing.

Choose More

Click on Course File and then search for the correct file.

When you have found and clicked on the file, it will automatically appear in your Content, and you will see it as shown below. Remember to use the switch to make the file visible.
