To give students the opportunity to self-enrol, you can make the course available via Discover. Discover is a tool within Brightspace that allows courses to be made available for self-enrolment.
The agreement is not to offer this option for courses created and linked through Osiris. For these courses, enrolment is handled through Osiris.

Submit a request to add a course to Discover
The Key-user at your school has the ability to enable Discover within a course. For this, the contact person needs the following information:
- The course name
- The course ID
For Key-user:
Enable Discover within a course
Follow the steps below to enable Discover within the course:
- Click on Course Admin
- Click on Course Offering Information
- Check the box next to Discover.
- If it's a teaching course, check the box next to Approval -> Require approval for self-enrolment requests. This way, the Instructors of the course have control over who they grant access to the course.
- Click on Save.
Approve or decline enrollment requests
An Instructor or Key-user can find the requests for access to the course in two places and approve or decline them:
- Via Discover on the Homepage
- Via the Classlist in the Course
