Sometimes, the Similarity Reports generated by Turnitin's plagiarism check are much lower than expected, or you may want to ensure it is checked against new or later added sources after it has been submitted.

This guide explains how to generate a Similarity Report again for submitted Turnitin assignments.

1. Open the submitted assignment in the relevant course and click on the percentage in the Turnitin Similarity Report column.

1. Click on the Filter and Settings icon (looks like a funnel) on the right side of the screen.
2. At the bottom right of the screen, click on New Report.

It may take up to 15 minutes for a new Similarity Report to be generated. During this time, the Similarity Report will not be available.
