Learning Outcomes koppelen aan Brightspace leeractiviteiten
Before you can align Learning Outcomes with learning activities, you must first have created Learning Outcomes in your course. You can read more about this in the article: Learning Outcomes in Brightspace
You can align Learning Outcomes with learning activities and content items in Brightspace. The steps for doing this are described below.
Assignment
You can find information on creating an Assignment here: How do I create an Assignment?
Create a new Assignment via New Assignment, or edit an existing Assignment by clicking the chevron next to the Assignment and selecting Edit.
You will then see the following screen.
- Click on Outcomes to select the Learning Outcomes you want to align with the assignment.
2. Check the Learning Outcomes you want to align and click Save. Fill in the other settings for the assignment.
3. Use this method to create all assignments within the Brightspace course.
Discussie
You can find information on creating a discussion here: How do I create a Discussion Forum and Topic?
Once you have created a Discussion Forum/Topic, you can align Learning Outcomes with a Topic. To do this, go to the Topic you want to align the Learning Outcomes with, click the chevron next to the Topic, and then select Edit.
You will also see the following screen when you create a new Topic, so the process works the same way.
When you are in the create/edit screen, you will see Outcomes in blue under the title. Click here to add the Learning Outcomes to the Topic.
Check the Learning Outcomes you want to add and click Save.
Click Save and Close once you have added all Learning Outcomes.
You can then add the Discussion under Content. Go to the location where you want to add it, click Add Existing Discussion, and select the discussion you want to add.
The number of Learning Outcomes displayed under Content will now be automatically totaled in the top left.
Quiz
You can find more information on creating a quiz here: How do I create a quiz?
Go to Course Tools > Quizzes in the navbar. If you haven’t created a quiz yet, click New Quiz here. If you have already created a quiz and want to align Learning Outcomes, click the chevron next to the quiz and then select Edit.
You can now add questions to the quiz via Add Existing or Create New.
To align Learning Outcomes with the questions, select the questions and click More Actions > Align to Outcomes.
Then check the Learning Outcomes you want to align with the question and click Save.
Once you have aligned the correct Learning Outcomes to all questions, click Save and Close.
You can then add the quiz under Content so it is easy for students to find. Go to the location in Content where you want to add the quiz, click Add Existing Quiz, and select the quiz you want to add.
The Learning Outcomes you aligned to the questions in the quiz are not automatically displayed in the top left. To make them appear, click the three dots and then select View Outcomes.
Click Edit Outcomes Alignments and select the Learning Outcomes associated with the quiz. Then click Save Changes.
You will then see that the count in the top left under Outcomes is updated.
Other content items
Locate the content item you want to align Learning Outcomes with and follow the same steps as described above.
