- Use Availability to select who can use this award:
- Make this award available to all of my courses: only you can use this award in your own courses.
- Make this award available to other creators and their courses: other instructors can use this award in their courses.Note: enabling this option means that all instructors using Brightspace can use and modify this award. This is not recommended.
- Select Restrict award to [current course] and its child org units if other instructors should only be able to use this award within the current course.
- Choose whether the award can expire, using the Expiry settings
- Never: the award does not expire and remains visible to the student indefinitely.
- Fixed Date: the award expires on a specific date at midnight. Note: once the award is issued, it becomes visible to the student.
- Relative Time Period After Earning the Award: the award expires a set period after being granted. You can use the dropdown to select days, weeks, months, or years, and enter the number accordingly.
- Relative Day of Month: the award expires a specific number of days and months after being granted. If you don’t specify a day, the award will expire on the last day of the selected month.
- Select whether you want students to be notified in advance of the award’s expiration. You can use the dropdown to choose days, weeks, months, or years, and enter the amount of time accordingly.
If you make the award available to everyone, it means that all instructors at Hanze can use and edit the award.
As the creator of an award, you will always have access to all the awards you have created, regardless of which course you created them in.
