To create a shared playlist that you can display in your course in Brightspace, you must first fill the Media Gallery. You can find instructions on how to do this in this article: How do I use the Media Gallery within a course?

Once you have done this, follow the steps below to create a shared playlist. First, go to the Media Gallery in your course.

To create a shared playlist within the Media Gallery, click on the three dots in the upper right corner and then select Create channel playlist.

Select which channel you want to add videos from to the playlist. In this case, choose Media Gallery.

You will now see the videos available from the Media Gallery, which you can add by clicking the + button

Once you have added all the videos, click on Go to Media Gallery. This way, the playlist will be saved, and you can find it again in the Media Gallery.

There are now two tabs available within the Media Gallery:

• Home – This is where the playlists are located.
• Media – This is where the individual videos from the Media Gallery are located.

To add a playlist to a content item in Brightspace, go to the item and click on Add Existing.

Then click on the option Embed Kaltura Media, just like when uploading an individual video

At the top of the tab, select Media Gallery playlists and click Embed next to the relevant playlist.

You will now see the playlist embedded in the course. It will appear in Brightspace as a playlist, with the videos playing in order. You can adjust the order as needed by editing the playlist in the Media Gallery.
