Aligning Learning Outcomes with learning activities and then adding them to your Content gives you insight into the coverage of the Learning Outcomes in the course material. If certain Learning Outcomes that are central to the course do not appear anywhere in the content, it raises the question of whether the Learning Outcome is truly relevant to the course or if it still needs to be linked to some content.

1. Click on the Content menu.
2. Click on Outcomes Alignment to see the extent to which all Learning Outcomes are covered by learning activities.

In this overview, you can see how often a Learning Outcome appears in Brightspace content items and where it is not yet aligned. This helps Brightspace provide insight into how evenly Learning Outcomes are represented in the linked content of a Brightspace course. This option is not visible to students.
