You can change the contact information picture quite easily! You can also do this for your colleagues (you can read it here) as long as they have added a profile picture, no profile picture? Then leave the Hanze logo as is.
- You need to upload a profile picture to Brightspace account
- Copy the profile image link
- Edit the contact information image URL to the one you just copied
Below are step by step instructions with screenshots as well as a video at the bottom of the page.
Upload profile picture
Click on your name on the top right and select Profile
Click on Change Picture and upload by selecting My Computer. Then you can click on Save and Close
It is recommended you upload a square image, so your profile picture size is square (ex: 200x200, 100x100, 64x64)
Update contact information template
Right click on your profile picture image and click on Copy Image Link
Open and edit the contact information page within your course, and click on the hanze logo then right click to select Image
In the pop-up window paste the URL you just copied a few steps back within the Source field. This will also update the width and height fields.
Update the width and height field to 64x64 and click Save
Your image should now replace the Hanze logo without being stretched or distorted. If the image appears broken, reapply the template and try again.
