Within Hanze, attendance can be recorded using Brightspace Attendance and Academy Attendance. Both applications support this process in their own way.

Brightspace Attendance

This functionality is integrated into Brightspace and can be used to track student attendance per course. Instructors within the course can choose whether or not to use this functionality. If they do, they manually record student attendance themselves.

Academy Attendance

This application can only be implemented at the program-wide level. Through an integration with the timetable system, all schedule data is automatically imported, providing an up-to-date overview of class activities. Attendance is recorded by students scanning a QR code (the instructor can also register attendance manually if desired).
