When importing HTML pages into your Brightspace course, it is important to always use a unique name for the HTML page. Currently, Brightspace works in such a way that when you import an HTML page from one Brightspace course to another, the HTML page with THE SAME NAME will be overwritten.
For example: In Course X, I have an HTML page named Assessment information.html I import this HTML page into Course Y, which also has an HTML page named Assessment information.html. At this point, you now have the same HTML page Assessment information in your course twice, but in the background, it is the same page. This means that when you edit Assessment information in one location, it will also change in the other location.
You can prevent this by always giving the HTML pages a unique name. For example, Assessment information Cursus X and Assessment information Cursus Y. You will need to change this name under Course Admin > Manage Files. Simply changing the title of the already created HTML page is not sufficient.
Go to Course Admin > Manage Files as mentioned above.
Next, locate the HTML page you want to rename, click the chevron next to the page, and then select Rename.
Change the name and then click Save. Always keep .html at the end of the name.
