Under Course Description, you can provide a description of the educational unit. For example, think of a description of the learning outcomes, teaching methods, and content. Since this information will also be published in Osiris and the ECTS Course Catalogue, you can add a reference to this information, so you don't have to maintain the same information in two places.
- Open the ECTS Course Catalogue in a new window in your browser. Search the catalogue for your own program, exchange program, minor, or course.
2. Click on the relevant educational unit in the search results list to open it.
3. In your browser's address bar, select the URL of the educational unit in the ECTS Course Catalogue and copy it (with CTRL+C).
4. Now return to the course in Brightspace where you want to add the Course Description.
5. Click on Content in the navbar, open Course Information, and then Course Description.
6. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and click Edit.
7. Go to the Link field and paste (with CTRL+V) the copied URL into the field.
8. Make sure the option Embed on the page is checked under Display Options.
9. Click on Save and Close.
10. You will now see the information from the ECTS Course Catalogue displayed on the screen.
