How can I check an assignment for plagiarism without the student submitting it themselves?

Updated on

Sometimes you want to check an assignment for plagiarism without the student submitting it themselves. Turnitin offers a Quick Submit feature. The article below explains how you can use your own workspace to check a document for similarity with other works.

These submissions:

  • are intended exclusively for self-checking
  • are not stored in the Turnitin database
  • have no impact on future official submissions
  • are removed over time by Brightspace Functional Management
