Since we are transitioning from Blackboard to Brightspace as of September 1, 2025, it is important that all files are transferred. All courses that have been designated for migration to Brightspace will be transferred, including their content. However, it is possible that you may still have your own files stored in Blackboard. These files are located in your Content System (CS). It is important to secure these files if you wish to keep them.

It is crucial that you retrieve the files before September 1, 2025, as we will no longer be using Blackboard after that date.

You can do this by following these steps:

Navigate to ‘Tools’ and click on ‘Content Collection’

Under 'My Content', you will find your own files.

Select the files you want to download and click on ‘Download Package’

You will now receive your files in a .zip file in your downloads.
